We help our clients build buzz, earn press, and connect with the audiences that matter most. We're looking for an Account Executive, Media Relations Specialist to support account management, media relations and communications efforts across our growing client roster.
About the Role
Jaine PR is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Account Executive, Media Relations Specialist to support day-to-day media relations and communications execution for our food, beverage, and CPG clients. This role is ideal for someone early in their PR career who's eager to build hands-on agency experience, sharpen their media relationships, and contribute fresh ideas to client campaigns.
Responsibilities
Media Relations and OutreachResearch, build, and maintain relationships with food, beverage, and lifestyle media, substackers, and influencers to secure coverage for clients.
Draft and send media pitches tailored to client products, launches, and brand stories.
Track media coverage and compile coverage reports for clients.
Monitor food/beverage/CPG industry trends and competitor activity to inform pitch angles and outreach strategy.
Content Creation and Editing
Draft, edit, and proofread pitches, press releases, media alerts, and other client-facing materials.
Help maintain media lists, press kits, and product information sheets.
Ensure all content reflects each client's brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
Client Communications and Program Support
Support execution of PR programs for multiple clients, including product launches, sampling opportunities, and seasonal campaigns.
Assist with coordinating media samples, gifting, and event-related logistics as needed.
Help prepare materials for client meetings and calls.
Project Management
Manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
Stay organized across pitch trackers, coverage logs, and outreach calendars.
Collaboration and Professional Growth
Participate in client and internal meetings, taking detailed notes and recaps.
Bring fresh pitch ideas and media contacts to the table.
Stay current on food, beverage, and CPG media trends, influencer landscape, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2-4 years of PR experience, ideally with exposure to food, beverage, or CPG clients (agency experience a plus).
Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling, on-brand pitches and materials.
Existing or developing relationships with food/beverage media, bloggers, and influencers is a plus.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines.
Familiarity with media databases, coverage tracking tools, and social platforms.
Interest in the food, beverage, and CPG space.

About the Role
Jaine PR is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Account Executive, B2B & Corporate Communications to support day-to-day execution of thought leadership, trade media, and corporate communications programs for our B2B clients. Where consumer PR builds buzz, this role builds authority — positioning founders and executives as category voices, landing coverage in the trade and business press, and telling the business stories behind the organizations.
This role is ideal for someone early in their PR career who's eager to build hands-on agency experience, develop relationships with trade and business reporters, and learn how corporate narratives get built.Responsibilities
Trade & Business Media RelationsResearch, build, and maintain relationships with trade, business, and industry media
Draft and send pitches tailored to client business news: funding announcements, leadership changes, category trends, and operational milestones.
Identify and pitch commentary opportunities that position client executives as expert sources on industry stories.
Track coverage and compile reports that connect media placements to client business objectives.
Thought Leadership & Executive Visibility
Build and maintain a running calendar of speaking, awards, and podcast opportunities with deadlines and submission requirements.
Support prep for speaking engagements, panels, and podcast appearances — including talking points, Q&A documents, and briefing books.
Draft bylined articles, op-eds, and LinkedIn content in each executive's voice.
Research and manage industry awards submissions, tracking deadlines and assembling supporting materials.
Corporate Communications
Draft and edit corporate announcements, press releases, executive statements, internal memos, and messaging documents.
Help develop and maintain messaging frameworks, key message documents, and holding statements.
Assist with communications around funding, partnerships, retail launches, certifications, and leadership transitions.
Project Management
Coordinate logistics around trade shows, speaking engagements, and industry events.
Help prepare materials, agendas, and reporting for client meetings and calls.
Manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
Collaboration & Professional Growth
Bring fresh thought leadership angles, speaking opportunities, and media contacts to the table.
Stay current on trade media, industry events, and B2B communications best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2–4 years of PR or communications experience, ideally with exposure to B2B, corporate, or trade communications (agency experience a plus)
Strong writing skills, with the ability to translate business news into clear, compelling narratives and to write credibly in an executive's voice.Existing or developing relationships with trade and business media is a plus.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple clients, submission deadlines, and announcement timelines.
Familiarity with media databases, coverage tracking tools, and LinkedIn as a professional publishing platform.
